“And today we are going to be sharing our past experiences with manipulative friends. Remember things like this are not a HUGE deal. Everything will get better.
" YEAH!"
"That's the spirit!”
Jelly's experience~
So, long story short, I had a best friend. We actually ended up drifting, and she was hanging out more with her other friend. So I was fine, didn’t say much. But everyday her other friend was gone she would spend the whole day with me but the next day she wouldn’t talk to me. So How I got out of that was just by talking to her! She actually understood! I told her just how it was for me, if you are kinda a shy person like me. There is one thing you can do... I didn’t tell her I felt used. I know it’s kind of counter intuitive. I told her how it felt and my opinion and most importantly i listened to what she had to say. And we both handeled the situation respectfully! I think that’s always the solution, to open up about it. Because if you pile all these things up, one day you’ll just burst in front of your friend and it gets all messy.
Bean's experience~
" Ok, here is my experience. In elementary school, my friend and I were play on the playground and everyone thought she was mean except me. So I always played with her and sit with her at lunch until she made a new friend. I thought we can all be friends but ever since she made a new friend, they had been using me to buy lunch for them, and buy icecream for them. One day I told my other friend about how she was using me and she was right behind me the whole time. my face turned completely red and was soooo scared. she went to go sit with her friends. the next class I had with her, she was really mad. " You should never talk behind your friends back." she said. I mean I just had to tell someone. I didn't mean to. " You should never just use her to buy ice cream." that summer she told me she realized how mean she was. We were friends ever since. But I didn't have any classes with her but I was okay with it. We ended up talking it out."
"So that is our advice!"
"We hope we helped you out!"
