“Hi, I’m Jelly”
"And I'm Bean!"
“And I have a question, what do you do when friends take jokes too far?”
"...I'm thinking..."
“And I've been thinking to. How do I break the news that what is a joke to you hurts my feelings?!”
“In this post we will talk about what we mean by “taking it too
far”, we will also talk about how to deal with it, and most important how to move on to a better friendship with your friend.”
“Okay, let’s get started!”
“Usually they will take something that’s different from them and joke about that, like glasses, braces, height, hands, even how you laugh! And sometimes they DO realize it but carry on anyway.”
“It’s important to be around people who want the best for you and speak positive.”
“ so we are going to help you find out how to handle the situation maturely. I know one thing I used to do was bank up every little “joke” so that one day I could lay it all on the table for them to see. Still every day I called it of.”

What do we mean by taking it too far?
"Whenever friends turn something hurtful into joke without even realizing it."“Usually they will take something that’s different from them and joke about that, like glasses, braces, height, hands, even how you laugh! And sometimes they DO realize it but carry on anyway.”

Our Advice
"Here is my advice. I think it's important to first of all, realize that this isn't a hardship. There are going to be bigger problems and things to deal with. Once you have gained a peace of mind, youre ready to confront the person. now don't think of this as you have to go and do this and that and aaahhhh! because all it really is you telling somebody that they are doing something that makes you uncomfortable. so just give them some examples, tell them how it made you feel and what you want them to do instead. they can't and shouldn't do much when you already have a solution on hand. And if they are your friend, they will definitely understand!"
"My advice is to either ignore the joke, or tell them how you really feel about it. Ya know? If it is really got bad, talk to your teachers. I have had this experience before and I just agreed with my friend even though it was rude. Eventually, my friend stopped talking about it. "
